I am in this lovely hotel, situated only 300m from the entrance to the Swiss National park. I arrived just in time to get a very nice room for a few days, it’s exactly this type of hotel, which I appreciate very much. The friendly host family, Teresa and Carlos offer not only good quality and service in the hotel, but also very good meals in their Restaurant and Pizzeria.

Usually at this time of year, the season is over and many hotels are closed, but it’s different this year because of the outstanding weather. People living in the lower regions of Switzerland as well as from the neighbour countries come up for a few days to enjoy the sunny days.

Greetings May, I see you are suffering through another dull, drab autumn. To bad there is so much sunshine and nice weather. Probably makes you feel like you have to go outside and look at stuff......hmmm, wish I were there ;-))! This location looks beautiful.

Epi and Blai, thank you for all the comments! I'll visit your galleries, when I am home again. Saludos, May :)

:) E veramente bellissimo in questi regione. Ciao, May

Rich, thank you very much for your visit! You are mistaken about our autumns. ;) I am not at all suffering through a dull autumn where I live. The Emmental hills are famous for being above the fog. If you remember or look at my photos from last autumn and winter you see that I live in a part, where we have the most beautiful fall and lovely winter sceneries. It's in general, that I prefer Spring and Summer for the warm temperatures and safer roads.

I specially love this mountaineous region, the high mountains with glaciers and views are simply spectacular. :)

best greetings, May
