Birendranagar City of Surkhet

Birendranagar City is currently in boom period. Being Regional Administrative Headquarter of Mid Western Region of Nepal, The city is improving its development activities. This picture was taken from Bageshwori Development Bank Building using Canon camera. This is actually a main city area of Birendranagar.

Birendanagar is the city of west+mid Nepal, it is the Headquarters of Surkhet district and the Mid Western Region of Nepal, it is in the center of Surkhet Velly, Birendranagar is the main food supplier of the rural Karnali Zoon which is just linked by Karnali highway, also it is the main shopping destination of the Dailekh Jajrkot Acham near by hilly district, Birendranagar got its name by his majesty the late king Birendra Bir Bikarm Saha of Nepal, who make plan and establish a well planed city in western Nepal.

Now Birendranagar is the main educational and Health center in West Hilly Region of Nepal vireos collage and Schools are there and 1 Regional Hospital and a district hospital are the meager hospital but other private hospitals and clinics are also running.

Main attraction of Birendranagar are the only clock Tower (which is made by on the help of Japan) Bulbul Tal (a park and a small lake with springs) Deutibajy (femouc temple of that Region) Kakrebihar (a historic Budist and hindu temple. Also can rafting in Bheri Babai River.
