Beautiful color you have there, Keith, very well illuminated! Thanks for sharing the glories of this all-too-fleeting season.

Many thanks Marilyn. I mourn the passing of the summer, but some aspects of the colder seasons are worth recording.

BY LAD! you folk who live on the coast, AND in the country are GEET fortunate, like!

This is a lovely signal of Autumn, the kind of foliage one associates with toffee apples, fruit loaf and frosty mornings!

So very well photographed-(almost as if it were on a tripod!!)

Congrats by the bucket full, skida

Mike

Having recently become the owner of a tripod (cheeaz mayte), I go in search of running water and come back with colourful leaves!

I suffer for my art, though: I am now full of cold/man flu.

What was that I saw about your jaw? Have you been in the wars again?

Thanks for the wonderful words Mike.

I wish, Summer would stay longer, but when we see the autumn colours we are in peace with this season as well. Lovely photo and good title, Keith! Next week I am in England for a few days, seeing my grandchildren. :) Best regards, May

Thanks for your lovely comment May. I hope the weather is good for your trip (though I fear it may not be good weather at all).

Margrit Berger on October 25, 2008

Oh dear, Keith! And here we have the most beautiful sunshine and nice temperatures! It will be quite a change from Bern to Chorley then. ;)

skida on October 25, 2008

The weather in the UK can be very unpredictable, as I am sure you are aware. Here is a Weather Forecast for the coming week. I hope you are fortunate and it is better than they are predicting.

Enjoy your journey May.

Margrit Berger on October 25, 2008

Thank you for your wishes and the weatherforecast of Chorley, Keith! Probably I'll stay indoors most of the time in any case. :) Have a nice Sunday!

May
