Approaching Clifton Campville (what a terrific name for a village...) from Lullington on a sunny autumn afternoon in early October, the elegant lines of Clifton church spire can be seen rising above the trees of the surrounding village, just turning colour and glowing in the soft light. Inbetween, the Mease valley wends it's gentle way eastwards.

Peter,

It's a great view. This winter I've cycled these lanes a great deal - probably more than normal. There's been something more precious about them in the hard winter we've had this year. Just at the moment it seems a long way until spring with its' greenery and flowers.

One of the joys of Panoramio is the realisation that other people see the same countryside as yourself, but percieve it differently. So many vistas on the same subject - it's fascinating.

Thanks

Bob
