Thanks, brianmoc. It doesn't stand up well to high magnification as it's a scan of an old photo, but it does show that it was a pretty evening. Thanks for stopping in.
That it's blurred and not high "quality" gives it ephemerality and an extra-terrestrial sense and it really works, especially viewed in full size. I loves it.
Thanks, whoelius. Extra-terrestrial is a word that fits the west desert area of Utah, that's for sure. It's one of those shots that I wish I could get a "do-over" on. But, that's the nature of collecting images. Some are better than others. Thanks for the visit and comment.
Cool floating mountains, Bob! ;) Fuzzy but still interesting, and a great satellite map to boot! What made you choose this as your very 1st upload, or has that one been deleted?
Hi, Brian. It looks much better in the print. I thought it might be a cool shot, something a bit unusual. Plus, Gaggle Earth/Panoramio was still in the earlier stages, and there wasn't anything posted then from that general area. As to the satellite mapping, short of Antarctica, not much else is as boring. ; )
wow. I'm quite embarrassed to realize that I never have visited yer very first uploads! and lolol, wow - how strange to notice that we signed up here just a week apart!

Nice pastel colors n1w, Cheers Cindy
Thank you, Cindy. I wish that I had been able to get this one with a digital camera. Oh well, we work with what we have. Take care!

Well, you seem to have synced with your sister just the same. Yay for you! Thanks for the repeat visit. : )
