BTW - How did you manage the exposure with the sunlight and shadows? Usually I find areas under or overexposed in a scene like this.

Hi Gerry there are various ways of doing this by taking three separate meter readings and then working out the average reading and set this in manual mode, or take three separate shots one 2 stops under one average and one 2 stops over and combine them as a HDR image as above, or just try a meter reading of a grey tone and set this reading in manual, hope this makes sence and helps. give it a try and i will look out for your results !!!!
