This is a route seldom used by tourists, from vathalagundu it goes through Iyyampalayam, ThandiKudi,PannaiKadu and joins the regular ghat road from vathlagudu to KodaiKanal midway on the hills.Its a narrow steep road full of blind turns and spectacular views.

Hi, more information on this route. from kumili take the road towards Cumbum , from there to Chinnamannur, Theni,Periyakulam and Vathlakundu. from there turn left on reaching the junction of three roads towards Dindugal.About 2kms from there a road will branch off to the left towards Iyyampallayam. Then you shall ask for ThandiKudi and Kodaikanal
