Scorched Earth Photo… on April 25, 2010

Greetings from across the Big PondAXOTA. Unique capture - is it flotsam or jetsam ? I was never much of a buccaneer. Are you refering to Jerry Lordan and The Shadows in your above conversations ? The original Apache is my favorite instrumental. Then again, I also like " Dead Skunk in the Middle of the Road " by Loudan Wainwright III. Once again, nice photo.

Thank you very much, Jim ! Of course, I will post a picture of the completed work in my gallery. I am a newbie on Panoramio. You can already see how Saint Ives inspired me ... just added a watercolour on my page. Kind regards, Catherine

Catherine DR~~~First of all Catherine, my humble apologies for the extraordinarily late response..I would very much like to see how your gallery is growing ;>)

Clive on Beara~~~But isn't that the attraction of Panoramio Clive, I too find new images hidden in the depths of many galleries I visit frequently,..I have long since been of the opinion , as I am sure you also do, that there is far more to a gallery than the front page..

Again, it is having the luxury of time..I can browse at leisure and hopefully, reply with interesting feedback ;>)

I'm delighted you found this one, a favourite of mine too ;>) Much appreciated Clive ;.)

Malacal~~A warm welcome to you :) I am happy that you liked the reflection of the "Grand Turk". Since this photo was taken in my home town, the sailing ship has been sold to a new owner in St Malo, Brittany. She has been re-named as the "L'Etoile du Roy".

I'm grateful to you all for your kind appraisals and visit!
