There are some railroads in Jordan, including her part of the historic Hedjaz Railway. No more trains went all the way to the Hedjaz in today's Saudi Arabia after WW I, but Jordan replaced this southern destination with a new connection to the port in Aqaba. You cross this line upon entering the Wadi Rum.

Israel plans to rebuild the Jordan valley branch (historically from Haifa to Dera) up to the Lake Tiberias with a possible completely new connection to Amman, thus bypassing (of course) the Syrian part up to Dera, which Syria uses for occasional tourist steam runs.

Syria plans to upgrade the main Hedjaz line from Damascus to Amman to regular gauge. Currently there are two international trains from Damascus to Amman each week.
