Harry Recanati (1919) established the first Ralli Museum in 1987, in Punta del Este, Uruguay; the second five years later in Santiago, Chile; the third in Caesarea, Israel (1993) and the fourth seven years later in Marbella, Spain, in 2000. The museums, he says, have two purposes: to exhibit art to the public and to serve as memorials. Haaretz
