Thank you .....the Esk River is dark water, and when the water is calm you get the most amazing reflections...like a mirror.....very beautiful. On this day there is a little bit of movement in the water, so not so perfect :-)

Beautiful! I see what you mean about the dark tea like water being so good for reflections. Just a delicious hint of dimpling in the water, to set the flowers all a quiver. I love this shot, you're so clever to have spotted it, I seem to miss the detail in things near to me, I'm always gazing at the horizon, which is why I trip over so much, I guess.

I do love that chevron effect created by the reflected slab of grey. Wonderful!

Thanks Sue for your lovely comment, it is a beautiful place and I have so many photos of the Lotus flowers from up there :-) can't help but click away.........will be going up there shortly for a nice paddle and time to myself......The weather is calm at the moment so if I catch high tide it may be nice and still for some more shots like this.....Sandy
