That is a dilemma Marilyn. The other shows the structure and this one the character. Leave them both.

I agree. I often leave two photos of the same object, you have 2 Gb of free space on Panoramio, ther's no need to hurry!

As for me, dear Marilyn, Larry is right. Those images are with different accents and you must decided what is more important for you :)
Cordially yours, Eva

Luca, Sam, Larry, Makephotos, and Eva, thank you for sharing your thoughts.
Another Panoramio photographer has posted a winter view from the same angle as the other photo, so I've decided to leave just this one. Greetings, Marilyn

Greetings, Marilyn!
What a fantastic trestle-like bridge. It is fabulous.
It reminds me of what's left of many of the old railroad trestle bridges around here. They all looked like this except they had tracks instead of solid ground on which to travel.
It is wonderful, but by the sound of things above, It appears that I missed out on seeing another view. I suppose this one won out?
Regardless, I love it. It's a fine old bridge indeed.
I hope you are doing well.
With kind regards,
Mary Alice

Yes, Mary Alice, you missed out on the other view, but you can see a winter view from a similar vantage point by following the link above. The other one was a nice photo, but this is more distinctive.
I wasn't here at the right time, but if I'd waited around I might have been able to take a photo that would have given even more feeling of the past. The bridge is used by cars, of course, but it is in an area with many Mennonite families, so horses with buggies cross it, too! That would make quite a picture though I think they may prefer not to be photographed.
I hope you are having a pleasant evening. I'm having a busy one because tomorrow evening we leave for California where I'm going to a meeting.
Best wishes, Marilyn
