This shot remindes me of the winter of 1962. As "Boy Soldiers" at Tonfanau, we had to lay water pipes from the lake down to Towyn. Dig farmers out. Break up the frozen sea water and pass fire buckets of ice, hand to hand in a chain to fill baths for flushing toilets.
