A delightful photo of a waterfall. Even tho I knew it was a "short" waterfall I still love it. The curtain of water hides a green fairyland with a black treasure chest awaiting outside.

Now I see you are originally from Louisiana so I will have to check out some of your photos from there. You have so many from around the world it is hard to choose where to look.

JF,

You are spoiling me with your wonderful compliments. Thank you so much for the yellow star. I am honored.

Not many have the gift you have to be able to "see" what lays behind the curtain of water.

Louisiana was a great place to grow up in the 50's and 60's. My wife (a Cajun queen) and I left in 1970 to serve our country in the US Air Force (me as an security policeman and her as a military wife). Our travels took us to 26 countries and left us settled in Spokane.

I know that is probably more information than you wanted to know.

Best wishes, Leo

I enjoy the ability to enlarge and move around on photos that P has. It really helps you appreciate fully photos such as this one.

I really enjoy learning about you time in Louisiana and your travels. This type of things is just as important as the photos. My husband has some relatives in Acadiana and we have made a couple trips there. The people and the culture are delightful - but not so much the heat and humidity & we went in February and April to avoid the worst of it as I know how it is in south Georgia & Alabama in the summer. Lucky you to see so much of the world. I love traveling!

Thanks again for all the info! JF

Thank you, Enson for your kind words and Like. I think the most interesting thing about this waterfall is that is less than one half meter high.
