Good day, please send me your e-mail address and I will forward it to you. Sadly this beautiful estate no longer looks this way due to mis-management, but lets hope they fix it up nicely asgain one day Regards. CJ.

This brings back memories, I installed a C21 tea bag machine for Sapekoe around 1999-2000. I stayed at their Midlekop guest house. What wonderfull people and graet tucker.
What happened to Sapekoe? Wiedse the factory manager and Andre the Engineer? David

Hi there, Our farm is located next to the Sapekoe tea estate, I still travel to Tzaneen often. To be honest, I'm not sure what happened to the staff, as we were only visitors. The tea estate sadly does not currently look like the above photo I took in 2002. More like tea-trees now. Very unfortunate, what an incredible site it always was. But still a beautiful place to visit. Johann

G'day. Does anyone remember a bar (with a thatched roof)on the way from the Sapekoe factory to the Midlekop guest house? I think it was run by a lady and her husband from Europe, I think her name was Sabilla. Fairdinkum booze was cheap there, compared to Sydney that is.
Is the guest house still in operation, I had the best Bobotie there.I would love to come over for a holiday.
Dave
