Pinot noir?

Hi draken, I'm not much of a botanologist or an oenologist but I would say yes because the red and rosé Sancerre wines are both made from 100% Pinot Noir. Best regards from Belgium - Hans

Beautiful colours. I miss things like that here in Wales. Very good photo. I love good wines, too!

Hi Annette, thank you for your visit and your comment.
Do you mean you miss grapes in Wales?
Because you've got so much nature that I find it hard te believe you don't have these autumn colours...
Greetings from Belgium - Hans

@Hans: many greetings to you in Belgium! Thank you for your kind reply. There's autumn colours in Mid-Wales, too- but not these strong red colours where we live. Most of the time it rains here so one cannot enjoy these autumn colours. Yes, I miss those beautiful grapes a lot. Sometimes in storms the leaves seem to fall down before one has been able to appreciate the colours. Hwyl fawr, Annette.

Hi Annette, I'm sorry to hear about the weather. A Welsh woman that was in Belgium several times told me we have very simular weather so I sympathies. Personally I've spent four days in Wales and can't complain at all...
Grapevines are known for their intensely red autumn colours. That's one of the many reasons why I like France in that season. However, a lot of other vines also boost these intense colours and you find them in Belgium so I think you should find some of them in Wales as well...
Greetings - Hans
