Agnieszka, thanks for this very nice compliment! I too, had the idea of following the masters, possibly more-so with my 'fruit-bowl'. Somehow, even though I would like to, I cannot get into the correct mindset to repeat these exercises. (yet). Many thanks for the YSL.

Eva, so sorry I missed this comment in September. Yes, when I have time!!! I shall try to go through my thousands of other slides I made all those years back. Glad you liked this one.

Wishing you both a very happy photographic 2013 year, Herb

You have to know that your 'Study in brown' shot is the real MASTERpiece (even that 'fruit bowl' has more connotation with the Dutch-masters paintings by its subject) this is the ONE, PERFECT PICTURE. ALL The BEST Agnieszka

Llorenç, thanks to you to for this visit and comment. I enjoy taking 'Still life' now and again not only for its technical challenges but also for the enjoyment of seeing such everyday things brought to our attention in a artful way. I know that I am on your fav list and that is always a great honour for me. I shall look more closely at your link here.

Best wishes, Herb
