Anglo-Boer War Burgher Monument

I really LOVE the photo!!!! I am from the US but lived in Ladysmith South Africa when I was a teenager and I had a friend who's name was Pam. She is a Hindu Indian. I use to go over to her house. She lived at the bottom of this monument,(cant remember which side of it)! I do , however remember very clearly, climbing the hill behind her house that took us to this very monument! I would love to locate this Lady. I have not seen her in about 23 years. I do not know if she even still lives in her lovely home that she once did or if she is still living, but I would love to be able to find out. Only Problem is_ I do not know her last name. Her first name is Pam.. If you or anyone you know has any suggestions for me as to how I may be able to locate her. PLEASE let me know.
