He'd make a pretty cool photo in there, too! Black dog against the Cranberry background, mmm, nice shot!

I know I've butchered the names of the equipment and stuff in this series. I'll come back and read up on it and fix them. But this link to the Cape Cod Cranberry Growers Association has a lot of really good and interesting information. This is also the group that had the festival. It sure was worth the little trip to see this!

I have to ask, what do you mean 'the guy with the sugar'?

Jean Gregory Evans on October 25, 2008

forgot to say how great the photo is! So red! So lovely.

thanks steve and jean ! By 'the guy with the sugar', I was joking about the Ocean Spray commercials of the two guys out in the bog. Seems the ads are tough to actually find on the web! Here's a link to 'No Sugar Added' googled from someone's blog - so no idea how ling it will stay available, or what might be on the rest of that page! (you have to scroll down the page a little to get to the video.)

I find that those commercials are all funny. That one is really good. Thanks!

No sugar added! - You'd never smile again. BnP The cranberry series has been great, gorgeous photographs and informative. Aren't you glad you had a blue sky day - it looks fantastic peeping through the cranberries in the pics. H

Thanks so much, Helen ! It's OK - there's no added sugar, but its still a blend of juices, so tastes pretty much the same as the 'Cocktail'. I know you don't seem to like the stuff - but CJ and orange juice mixed is more critical to me than coffee in the morning, LOL. (Though I did once buy a bottle of pure un-diluted or mixed CJ - and now a sip of that could keep you puckered up for a week or so!)

And yes - the sky that whole week-end was really a gift! This would all still be interesting, but its the sky that makes all the shots from then - the photos at the farm, the autumn reflections - haven't seen much to want to photograph since then because conditions just haven't compared.

B-n-P the Cranberry series of photos has been brilliant, the colours are fantastic, and it is great to get so much information about things that we just dont see. I think I will have to maybe try your CJ and orange juice as I have given up coffee. A great job. Dianne

Love the video. Dianne

Love it, the colors are amazing. Frank would love it in there too although he would probably be sick from gulping down cranberries. Fred does not like to get wet, funny for a lab. Jean...cranberry juice also goes good with ginger ale.....and vodka. Zoe

mmmmmm, I like cranberry juice. I didn't comment on this back then, because I didn't know you strange people then.

lolol, were you afraid of what making a comment on could drag you into? you might have been sucked down into the land of silly puns!......ha-ha, not so bad after all, was it? ;)

and if you see this Zoe - thanks!!
