Greetings Maciejk and Anna, Thanks for visiting and commenting. Drinking the water from each flow provides wisdom, wealth and longevity. You can buy a special cup to drink from, so we did. And we felt much smarter, the prospect for much wealth and many more years to enjoy. A fun tradition.

Cheers,

Rich

Greetings Tomoaki, Thanks so much for your visit and wonderful comments. Were you able to get to Haradas and pick up the DVD's? Did they work? Anyway....the trip to Nara and Kyoto was very good for us. It was hot but we were able to visit every place we planned on visiting. The Gion district was a disappointment as there was not much going on. The temples and shrines were all open and in wonderful condition except that the Silver Pavilion itself was under renovation. The rest of the garden were open. So, over all our trip to Japan was a wonderful experience, of course with climbing Mt. Fuji being the best part. I hope all is well with you and your family and that the autumn is being beautiful for you.

Cheers,

Rich

Hi Rich, this is a wonderful shot. You capture the atmosphere there in a great way. I can see how much fun the people have to fill their cups. Is this a kind of 'spiritual' water? Cheers, Frank

Richard Ryer on October 26, 2008

Greetings Maciej and Frank, Thanks for visiting and commenting. Thanks so much for visiting this photo. The water from this spring is very clear and said to provide health, wisdom and long life. It is fun to reach out to the fall and fill your cup so you can sample each. Sometimes there is a very long line and wait to get to the fall. It is very popular!

Cheers,

Rich

Greetings Francisco, Thanks for visiting and commenting, That is an excellent idea. The water tasted wonderful, clean and pure. We immediately felt healthier, wealthier and wiser. And the Girls in the line were nice to visit with. Excellent idea. I recommend you go.

Cheers,

Rich

Rich, wisdom and wealth are those selling jars for drinking water, that rather than give you health and longevity, you can take an intestinal infection, and spend a few days in bed.

Sincerely, A. Wheat

Niice!

Richard Ryer on January 30, 2009

Greetings Hamzars, Thanks for visiting Japan with me and commenting. The three springs are for health, wealth and wisdom. The Japanese only drink from two of the three so they don't suffer bad karma from being greedy. We were only going to be there once so we did drink from all three. The karma gods were good to us.

Cheers,

Rich
