I've crossed over that bridge countless times as a kid, but I never knew it was called "Treasure Island Bridge". Kind of funny since the bridge didn't actually go to Treasure Island. It's quite a bit further down the beach from where Treasure Island used to be (and where I lived as a child). The bridge is about the only thing in that area that hasn't been torn down or replaced since I lived there.

P.S. I have chosen to call it "Treasure Island Bridge" in the memory of the mobile home park that used to be here when I first moved to California ten years ago. Since then, "progress" in the form of the Montage Resort has erased what was once quaint with what is now exclusive to the wealthy. What did you or others call this bridge or do you think is more appropriate?
