Beautiful treatment of this, George. Is this building still in use? Nice photo! Best from alicia

ps - I just noticed you have a 40D - nice choice ;D Are you happy with it?

George Sled on November 9, 2008

Thank you, Alicia. It was a very windy day and I could hardly hold the camera. I like my 40D very much. I moved up from the 30D and this is a better camera (although my 30D was excellent). I still have my A2E with the eye-controlled focus and some Velvia slide film to finish, but the digital is the one I tend to grab now. Thanks for the visit and kind comments.

Love this composition George. The mono treatment works very well.

Best regards, Tom

Hello, Tom. It seemed to me that it would work considering that this interesting center is monotone to begin with, so I didn't have much to change. Thanks for the kind words.

Ian Stehbens on December 15, 2008

Excellent photo, George, and the monochrome emphasises the building's character.

Thanks, Ian. I had never been to Cape Cod before. It is very picturesque area with lots of sea-scapes and historic features.
