No! Oliver, I did not mis-translate your comment. I fully understood the meaning of the word schade.

The comment would have had substance if only you had explained why you thought it was a pity (schade)! I don't mind critique provided that it is explained, as you have now done.

I agree that there is noise in the photo, but I liked the effect of this noise. In my humble opinion, the noise enhances the over-all image and gives the photo a painterly touch!!

I cannot read your mind and posting only a single word schade, is both confusing and annoying.

However, as you have had the decency to explain, and redeemed yourself with a nice compliment, I shall forgive your little 'fo-par'. ;>))

Thanks for the feedback

Kind regards-----Jim

I really like this picture and this kind of quiet harbour atmosphere, the colors, shades and reflections. Regards, Tête

Jim Evans (AXOTA) on December 17, 2008

Tete are you and Sloup the same person??

I think that a comment has changed on this photo so I am a little confused here. Don't worry, its probably just me ;>)

Your visit and nice comment is much appreciated ;>)

Thank you for stopping by ;>)))

Kind regards Jim

OK Sloup, I have discovered your dual identity for myself, it matters not. I would just like to say 'Welcome' to my gallery.

Cheers--------------Jim

Sloup on December 17, 2008

Axota and may be other readers, sorry for the confusion, the previous name was a bit weird, I discovered I could modify it easyly but I did not make any public announcement. So "Tête de" is renamed "Sloup", more suitable... This will not change in the future.

Kind regards Sloup
