Jim,

Thank you for the kind words and suggestion. I checked my settings and found that I have checked the boxes to receive notifications, so the problem must be elsewhere. I will check my browser and email settings on this end.

Thanks again, Leo

Thanks for the feedback Leo, if you can't fathom it, try reloading the software for the browser.

I am now using "Google Chrome", it is superior to Yahoo and is much more efficient, it's worth a try and it wont upset your files etc.----Jim

Jim,

My apologies to everyone else in this stream, but I did want to let you know that I was able to fix my email alert problem by deleting my info in "settings" then re-entering it. I am again receiving alerts.

Thanks so much for your help.

Cheers, Leo

Jim, here was I thinking you were missing out on the sailing ships when I come across this on our friend Steve111 site. - Very good picture. I think your presentation of this in Monochrome lifts it to the right mood along with your 'apparition' effect. Herb

..."and the boat sank long time ago. But now, a ghost ship emerges from the bottom of the sea, in thirst for revenge...the world, will never be the same. It's not a moment for hesitations. We must give the battle! and then, we can live in peace and freedom...to the burden my braves!"

what poet!

Hello everyone and welcome to the old salts treasure chest. Perhaps this is the domain of Davey Jones's Locker, who knows.

Its good to see you all and I've enjoyed your entertaining feedback. Many thanks to---

Sara, it is my pleasure really, I'm glad you came.

Anne--I was pleasantly surprised at the result and I'm happy that you enjoyed it too.

Marcello--I have you to thank for the idea!!

Leo, glad to have helped, you are most welcome

Herb, the ghostly apparition, like the lost souls of the Mary Celeste, drifts silently on. Who knows where it will turn up next!!

Daniel--. the poem added a nice element to my photo, thank you!! I searched unsuccessfully for the poets name, now you will have to tell me please. ;>)

Ale'--It turned out quite spooky, "Shiver me timbers" as they say--- ;>)

Ray --I like your 'BLACK PEARL' idea

jordi --that's a huge compliment, thank you

I am so happy to see you all and I'm thankful for your visit and great comments.

The Curse of the Black Pearl

Beware all ye who go here!

Jim I gave you the hint! Davy Jones did put a curse on the Black Pearl ,she was Haunted...!!

The curse could only be lifted when every coin was returned to the chest along with a trace of blood from each pirate who stole one.

William "Bootstrap Bill" Turner, the only crew member who defended Jack during the mutiny, sent a coin to his young son Will Turner, believing the crew deserved to remain cursed.

Barbossa, as Pintel put it, "strapped a cannon to old Bootstrap's bootstraps and the last we saw of old Bill Turner, he was sinking to the crushing black oblivion of Davy Jones' locker"

Jim To lift the curse “You Have to find that missing Gold Coin”…!

I want to help by giving another YS

Now bring me that Horizon!....Ray
