Whayoo Mike, you're suggesting they should have punched the "pin" into the Allen family's house? You cannot mean that.

I don't see how, as Sue already has the best picture of this water tower.......Unless yo mean from the top, a great view pint? But then, how would one get up there?

I am confused claus I don't know what you meant, mate!

That would be quite a sight to see and photograph: a water tower/thumbtack firmly planted in your house.

Thumbtack, what thumbtack?

My house,why my house?

I thought we were talking about the water tower in Gympie! Surely that's in Queensland, Australia!

Mike, have you been drinking too much coffee? Claus, and Mike, I have followed your respective ramblings with much interest, and Claus, I don't think you could have 'won' this conversation, Mike is in mad mode! :D

If I was clever enough, with a photoshop, maybe I could transfer this water tower to my house, but I am too dumb to do such a thing. I could really do with one like this. We have two tanks, one holds 6,000 gallons and the other 5,000 gallons, and with teenage daughters, as you can imagine, the water would soon disappear down the plughole, unless I was nagging all the while. If we ran out of water, we could get some delivered by tanker, but our tanks are rather difficult to get to, being down the hill a bit from the house, and it's expensive to buy, so I do the washing mostly with dam water, and we are careful. 11,000 with 8 people doesn't go that far in a drought, but we've never had to buy in water yet!

So, there's another bit of waffle to digest, I wish you both a very wonderful weekend, as it's coming up fast, yet again, and thank you both for visiting, and having your mad conversation!

Cheers, sue
