I enjoy your decisions, Robyn. I haven't been this close to a waratah before.

Ian Stehbens on November 15, 2008

Hi Brian. I like the "Wow" factor! Yes the macro has given me some fun and if I can continue producing interesting even stunning images I'll be using it for re-creative purposes regularly. Glad our waratah appeals to you.

Hello Ian, this photo is wonderful, you have one of the most impressive gallery of macros in panoramio, YS for it, best wishes, Edmundo

Excellent photo Ian, very interesting composition! Only after opening the full-size version I had an idea of what I was looking at. I've awarded it with a Y*.

Greets, Tomas

Thank you Edmundo, thank you very much. I guess you realise that as Panoramio and the GE link are intended primarily for landscapes, our macros are only for sharing with Panoramio friends, and are demonstrations of what we are learning from one another. So that's why I need to thank you twice! And to receive a YS is something very special.

Mustafa, you can be sure that the Australian bush has many surprises. Our plant life is distinctive and that adds colour and surprise to every landscape, and yes it can take your breath away with its awe and beauty.

Hi Tomas, I trust the careful look at this image has rewarded you. Our waratah are something special and a single bloom even in the Sydney market sells for around E20+. And thanks for the award! Warm greetings from Sydney, and special greetings for the Christmas this year.

This is a great macro Ian, unusual red colour and a strange flower. Looks fantastic when blown up.

Regards Manoo

I appreciate your sending such wonderful comments, Manoo and Roberto. It is a native of the Sydney Region and is one of our larger flowers.

Warm greetings from Sydney,
