Hi, thanks for alerting me on the positioning thing. I refused the suggested change, of course, but I suspect that it will take the team some time to review and accept all suggested changes. Strangely, quite many of my pictures were suggested moved, some only a few 100 meters, some to a different country. I hope they will turn up on the public map again in a while, and if they don't I will alert the team about it. It strikes me that this is a way to manipulate view counts, as all those of mine that were suggested moved, were my most viewed pics. Is envy the key here, perhaps? And who really puts so much into this as to try to manipulate like this, I wonder? Love this pic btw, the shadows has a sci-fi look!

I received an answer from Eduardo since I sent my e-mail to you. He is aware of the fact there is a bug in the location-pending function, they are working on it. It seems clear that some panoramio users use this bug to remove popular photographs from public map, I hope it will be fixed quickly. In fact, most pictures appear again on the public when the suggestion is accepted or discarded. I had location disputes for 15 pictures or so (some of them for good reasons), and only 2 of them didn't come back on public map when I answered the location suggestion.
