Very shot

Harry Taggart on November 2, 2008

Hola blai as you can see from the Extra information. I took this shot last Monday, and the wind was very cold, We in scotland were heating it up as it passed to Sunny Espana from the North Pole. We sometimes fill Santa,s sleigh for the poor Espanoles, but there is very few of them.LOL cheers scally.

Thanks David for your kind remarks. cheers scally.

Scally I don't mean to be a pedantic civil servant, but you told us you never set times on anything. And according to the information, it was taken on the 27th of November 2008.... Have you been firing up the DeLorean again?

Harry Taggart on November 2, 2008

Now anyone with a modicum,of sense would realize that the month being in the future, is obviously wrong, even I find it difficult to explain the o2:12:48, but if the 02 is 2 pm then that is exactly correct give or that a few minutes. and I was definitely Heating up the Arctic Blast with my poor body heat for the benefit of LMC Londoners and sun kissed Spanish. I can,t understand how you let the World,s economy go wacky with your attention to detail Fain. Me, I never know what day it is, then I got this bossy female who hangs about my place that knows everything. cheers scally. remember work tomorrow,LOL

Will do Scally! By the way was the BST or GMT? ;)

Harry Taggart on November 3, 2008

My HP photo organizer is in a mess, can,t find anything, but thanks to you Fain the days of searching should soon be over. The Ricoh was a month out, and the Fugi a year plus. The reason my snaps were disappearing was this HP scanner -printer, can read the dates from the camera and slots them in to suit, but how the stupid thing could possible file them back a year goes to show that these things are not to be trusted. I,ve found photos I thought I,d lost years ago, most might be better staying lost. Thanks a bunch Fain, now my life will be easier, cheers scally.

You may say i'm a dreamer

Imagine there's no heaven, It's easy if you try, No hell below us, Above us only sky, Imagine all the people living for today ...

Imagine there's no countries, It isnt hard to do, Nothing to kill or die for, No religion too, Imagine all the people living life in peace ...

Imagine no possesions, I wonder if you can, No need for greed or hunger, A brotherhood of man, Imagine all the people Sharing all the world ...

You may say I'm a dreamer, but Im not the only one, I hope some day you'll join us, And the world will live as one.

John Lennon

I like the colours of the foreground and the sky. Safe for the modern buildings and the cranes, this picture has something of a romantic painting. Well done.

Harry Taggart on November 9, 2008

Thank you Boumlik it is a wee time since I visited your gallery, but I will visit soon, Unfortunately there is little Romanticism in this painting, maybe the Autumn colours. The cranes are building the 6th, Aegis Destroyer that carries so much Power you don,t want to know, what it is for? who it is against? I do not Know, only it will not be used against America, cause they have much more powerful ones, LOL scally

Hello scally, a funny pic, the background tends to blue and in front you've autum leaves and colors - a little rework?

Anyway, a nice one

Harry Taggart on December 12, 2008

I,ll tell you how it is done, but it might only work with a Finefix 5800, because it has a Chromatic Abboration lens fault (Purple Fringing). Iset the Iso No low ( here 64) then raise the shutter speed, then bob is your uncle. It is also essential that you hold the camera very steady, A couple of days ago Jadransko. gave a blue tinged shot of mine a Y*. I don,t know what you vote for Pics, because after winning a prize, I can not win again? regaeds and cheers scally

picsonthemove on December 12, 2008

The pic was submitted to the contest and I saw the golden button I asked, because I've a filter to improve autum colors and was interested how you did it.

Harry Taggart on December 12, 2008

I must have submitted but it was not intended. The trees in this photo pics were of various types and the reason I took this photo was because of the colour of a few of these trees, This snap was taken from the grounds of a hospital were I was visiting a patient, cheere scally.
