We had beautiful sunshine in the San Francisco area until we got to this part of the coast. Here I wanted to see what I could do in spite of the coastal clouds. Greetings, Marilyn

Wonderful shot, Marilyn. The overall grey cast matches the low tides and idle fishing boats. Nicely done.

Nicely done. Much nicer than snow in Ottawa, although I see the reason you went there. Congratulations again.

Tidal basins can be very attractive places, regardless of the water level, but I enjoy photographing the mud flats with the boats stranded on them - "fish out of water" sounds hackneyed, but it is appropriate.

Lovely image, Marilyn! Very reflective atmosphere comes through in this. Not having ever been there myself, whenever I hear 'Bodega Bay' I always think of Hitchcock's 'The Birds' ;D. I only see one here though, and he looks harmless. Cheers, alicia
