Lovely composition, not1word, and telling a story too! A Y* from me. I love the stark trunk and the detail, as mentioned, the sweep of the road, slicing through the green grass, the strong greens, the pure yellow trees - gorgeous colours!! The snowy white whisps of cloud, and that twiggy fringe tentatively trailing into the shot, is wonderful too. Cap it off with a nice dose of glassy reflection, in a beautiful loop in and out of the scene, and this photo has everything I need. Perfect! Really perfect, I can't stop looking at that buttery yellow, - well, all the elements - it's truly lovely, hence the yellow star.

You come up with some winning formats, not1word, bashful about it, as you may be!

Actually, I'm giving that a 'best of' too. I don't really dish them out, as how can you judge one photo against another, very tricky, but this is such a beautiful photo, I just have to.

Thank you, x2, Sue. You are most kind, and I do appreciate it. I kept moving around to try and make that last little bit of car disappear behind the tree, but then it messed with the rest of the shot, so I had to live with it. I think it's pretty cool how you can draw so much out with your descriptions. You should be required posting for everybody. It ups the resale value!
