Thank you for the kind comments about this picture. I nearly missed it! I first spotted the unusual storm clouds whilst driving on a very busy major road (the A1) from about 3 miles away but there was nowhere to stop with a clear view of it. Luckily when I reached the first point I could stop, the spectacular rainfall was as you see it and I grabbed a few frames before it rapidly diminished. Regards Geoff.
