This chapel is situated in Paris 7th district (7ème arrondissement), between Montparnasse station and Luxembourg gardens. The fresco recalls July 19th 1830, when Catherine Labouré saw the Blessed Mary. Since, it's a pilgrimage place, well known like Lourdes in the pyrénées, south west of France

Zygmunt, it's a pleasure for me to give some informations: In The chapel Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal A young sisteBlessed r Catherine Labouré received the 1st visit of the Virgin Mary during the night of july 18/19 1830.It was before the apparition of Our Lady in Lourdes to Bernadette Soubirous in 1858. On the arch of the altar is written the prayer Mary invites to say :_ "O Mary conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to You!"_ And the invitation She address to us : "Come to the foot of this altar; there graces will be showered upon all!" On the left, a plaque commemorating the visit of John Paul II May 31th 1980. On the right, a sarcophage of Ste Catherine, on the other side, Ste Louise de Marillac, co-founder with St Vincent de Paul of the Company of the Daughters of Charity

This chapel in Paris(7) 140, rue du bac is a place of pilgrimage.A very nice chapel!
