Oh yes, it is the typical castle of the knights in the middle ages. In 1990 the castle was copied in the German cultural village Ueno on the Japanese island Miyako jima original-faithfully, after the originally planned sale, evacuation and reconstruction on Miyako jima was rejected by the owner. :-)

Japanese investors wanted to buy the whole castle, disassemble it and planed to send it completely to Japan, but the german owner rejected. So they made a perfect copy of it in Ueno on the Japanese island Miyako jima:-))
