This has a painting like quality. I have seen The Falls in its more tranquil state, but never like this except on the TV news, like on Friday this past week. Is this a recent photo or from an earlier time?
Yes Larry it was really cooking on Saturday. I went to your shot and can't believe it's the same waterfall. At least the rain has let up so flooding will be less of a threat.
Yes Hank, mother nature flexing her muscles. We have a forecast for up to 4 more inches of rain in the next day for the mountains so it could get more spectacular.

Thank you Larysa. This was early November 2008 after several days of warm heavy rain.
