Dedicated to the preservation of the island's history and unique natural beauty, with ever-changing displays of local fauna mounts, historic and pre-columbian relics, photos, maps and documents. To the rear of the building is a nature preserve, and the museum also sponsors a network of similar trails, maintained by volunteers, throughout the island.
