Great shot Dusty! One of the reasons I fell for the night skies here, they are always so very dramatic. Wonderful to share with loved ones, or alone all year around.

Great night shot. Very crisp. I have a Canon DR XTi, but don't seem to get the same resolution out of my night shots. Any suggestions? Nice gallery. All the best. -LouisSaint

This was with an XT.
Just be sure to shoot in manual mode and keep the ISO down to 100 for the long exposures. I accidentally shot this one at 1600 and it looked bad so I used Noise Ninja to clean it up.

Wow! This looks wonderful, but I'm guessing it's hard to capture the full effect of something like this.

I really want to do something like that sometime. You have done quite well with this.

This is a once in a lifetime type image. Ansel Adams always said you have to let the light come to you. This type of image generally takes a lot of patience. Wonderful.!!!
