Thanks, Rory, it's one of several nice beaches by our enormous lakes, and still covered in ice & snow at the moment!. Theolfa

Really nicely composed shot. What beautiful scenery you have around you!

Thanks, Debs! We have lots of beautiful scenery, but because we live so far away from any sea, or ocean, Atlantic, Arctic or Pacific, people don't realise we have huge inland lakes with beautiful beaches, and no danger of sharks, (only Bears, Wolves, Moose, Cougars, etc.) The whole of the British Isles would fit inside Saskatchewan but we have a total population of 1 million, same as Liverpool! This is a beautiful lake in northern Saskatchewan,Junjun, and a far better beach than some I've seen at the sea. Plus, there's no tide to allow for. Theolfa

Hi there Theolfa -It most certainly does bring back memories! I am fairly sure I stood at this spot.. Well, how about that? Two individuals that live thousands of miles apart that share a common 'vision' as it were...

I love it! Thanks for passing the link... it has brightened the day!

Hi, Steve! Minus 33C this morning, and warnings about bad road conditions. So much snow, that people are concerned about roofs caving in, and about flooding once the thaw sets in. worst winter we've had in a very long time. I'm so glad I brightened your day, and as we both know, Saskatchewan summers make up for the winters. Cheers! From Canada's sunniest province, Theolfa

Hi there Theolfa - Minus 33? Sounds excellent! Tghe thought of a roof caving in can't be much fun though - I hope your's in sound condition! Here, we have had temperatures in the positive (+5'ish) for a few days but they are on their way south again. Nothing like the number you mention though.

I kile your comment about the summers in Saskatchewan.. I hope it remains true for the summer to come!

Stay warm!
