That'swan helluva fight. Great shot.
LOL, Guy. It was! There's another pair of swans at the lake who usually stay in a back pond. But now its fall, that pair seems to be coming into the big lake more (where there are people with handouts) and acting really aggressively against the family. At least now its 5 against 2, so the family still goes where it wants to, though interestingly, Dad isn't being quite as territorial as he used to be - I guess its good for the kids to learn what the big world is like.
Right place, right time, great shot.
Thanks, Dianne ! Since it only ended in a lot of ruffled feathers, it was pretty cool to watch.
do not drink the water! :)
ahhh, but we do. It's OK. the brown stuff in the pipes traps anything from the lake ;)
WOW! Free Fight in The Nature... Excellent shot Kamaly. I just wanted to say thank you for your kind visit&OK for the right place.
I certainly did appreciate your visit and friendly words. Link for your beautiful gallery. Sure Back Memories! Cheers:)
Thank-you, Mine Saguner :) Hopefully the mean pair trying to come into the territory of the family won't drive them off. They've been great to watch all summer. Cheers!
Impressive scene, well caught! Our swans are not peaceful either. ;-))
Thanks, Manfred1220 ! Interesting how we think of swans as a symbol of peace and loving, isn't it? The family on our lake was very used to people and friendly, but not so much between the different swan pairs!
