Dear Nigel, I have never been to Koh Samet, so I don't see why this picture would be of that island. Also, since I am the one that took this photo, and have visited this beach many times, and am probably fairly definitely certain that this is Koh Sichang, (just off-shore of Sriracha, you should visit it sometime)I am leaving the marker where it is, thank-you.
