Vielen Dank pumpkinbox!

Hello Jean, hope you feel well again. I saw the article and I am glowing! I thought it would be some lines about your raccoon foto, but I found a very interresting article about you, and your your beautiful work for Franklin. Congratulations!

Thank you, Klaus! The article made me sound much more grand than I am. And the work I did for Franklin, getting my town on the map just sort of happened. I was surprised when Don Lamont pointed out to me that my raccoons photo could be seen at about 600 miles up on Google Earth. I turned on GE and looked for myself. Then I sent an email to a good friend and joked that I had put us on the map, literally and she told the editor of the paper. The editor used to be a weaver for that defunct craft shop, we even went to do a couple of shows together. She decided it would be a nice story and gave the assignment to one of her reporters. He is new in town, here only 2 years. It was fun to do the interview and watch all my new friends here in Panoramio cheer me on. A really neat experience. Once the dust settles on the article, I will say something to everyone on the reporter's photo. :-)
