Nice shot....I just bought a Mamiya RB67 body, don't have a lens for it yet. I can't wait to play with some film. PB, I used to surf out there, many years ago. Great shot.

I must say I got lucky with catching the little girl just in stride as I did - that wasn't planned! Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good :) It was definitely fun shooting b&w film again for the first time in years.

Thanks labelmom, this is my favorite shot from the last few years and the print looks fantastic! The crazy thing is that another photographer here on Panoramio has a picture of the same little girl in the same sun dress taken a couple of months later! Amazing coincidence.

Thanks Mary! I have cropped it as suggested and I like it, but it has a different feel. I like this one with the heavy black on the left offsetting the brightness on the right. Different crop ratios also make a HUGE difference in how the print looks. Anyway, thank you so much for your thoughtful comment and the feedback - I really appreciate it! .
