That is beautiful. Beavers Rock!
Very nice colors. Paulo Andrade
Thank you Paulo when the sun starts to set, all bets are off.
Thank you Jean, I first off all thought you were confused between Beaver's Rock and Shining Rock (or even Punk Rock) again. Then I realized it was a statement of enthusiasm. So, yes, I agree, Beavers do indeed rock! :o)
Jethrohoyt, that reminds me of a time that my husband and I went for a little hike and came upon a sign that was written in pen on a small piece of scrap metal. I wish I can the photo. It said whItERock kNob and pointed with an arrow in the direction we were going. Ronnie, my husband said, Oh, look, that must be Whitter Rock Knob. So we hiked on in that direction. Later we came upon an official sign that said "White Rock Knob". We still have a good laugh over Whitter Rock.
Wow, searing sunlight on an explosion of tree trunks - very effective and a beautiful cool ribbon of blue water.
Love this one!
(Just been reading your conversations, Jean and Jethro, I guess you're not that far apart, are you? I shall have to consult the map....)
Catch you later,
Forget that, you're miles away, aren't you? I saw you'd have to go past a place called Pumpkin town, which looks rather sweet, but with all those mountains in the way too....a long way. Big place, in fact, when I come to look properly at the map, big country!
Very best wishes to you both, Jean, and Jethro,
