nope, no movie. I can see this place from my front yard! and the cold isn't too bad after you get frostbite a few times! Thanks for the visit, and we have a "no call list" here for the phone spammers, but good luck getting your name on it. every time I try the site is down...
well, Don, let me invite you to try out the life of (what's known around here as) the Canadian Snow Geese, "wintering" all along the Tex-Mex border.
...let me tempt you with (current) photography, views and thoughts (and weather report!) blogged about in the wonderfully written Bamberger Ranch Journal about their Texas Hill Country Selah Ranch
(of course, you knew already that you don't have to stay where its winter for longer than half the year, right ?!? I'm living proof of that... ! :))
when the foundations were dug (deep) during the 1970s revitalization of downtown Austin's "sprouting of the bank towers" they found a whole mammoth clan buried in the Colorado river's sandy shores, probably surprised by one of the regular sudden floods there. Visiting the bank cellar during the archeologists dig was "great fun for the kiddies" (what better excuse for adults to hang out there?!? :)

Don, I hope you are there to make a movie or something (rewarding) -- otherwise, take my hint of moving somewhere south, warmer... ;-)

...or to see The Bats at Selah
Thats would be neat if they resurrected the mammoth, but they might find it a touch too warm here.
that bat cave was very cool, it would cost a bit but would be a great thing to build!
