You like to sleep, huh, Nick? ( I'm kidding, of course!)
I like to sleep too, which is where I'm heading right now! It's actually way past my bedtime, but I will be back to catch up with you more tomorrow, okay?
Thank you for visiting once again.
I hope you have a beautiful Wednesday. =)
Goodnight for now from an also VERY crisp Georgia,
Hey Mary Alice. Congratulations with your wonderful pictures of the "Far West" Thank you for sharing them. I like this old images !
Greetings, Jacques, and how are you this evening? All is well over this way.
I'm so happy that you enjoyed this shot. Yes, it looks like something right out of a Western, doesn't it?
Thank you so much for your kind compliments. I'm really glad to see you, and hope that you have a wonderful week.
With kind regards,
Like an image taken from a "western" movie!
Indeed, Gabi! It reminded me of the same thing. =)
Thank you for your visit, and I hope you have a wonderful weekend.
Always amazing how you find these scenes around you, Mary Alice, that just step out of the past. I am intrigued by your surroundings and you have put it on my list of destinations at some point in my life! I like how you have cropped this to focus on the corner elements. Some wonderful findings here! Holiday cheers, alicia
Greetings, Bruce, and please forgive my delayed response on this comment.
I haven't been getting all of my e-mail notifications lately, or sometimes I'll just get blank ones, and I'll have to guess which photos someone may have commented on.
I just happened upon this one you had left many days ago, and I just wanted to thank you for such nice words, and wish you a very wonderful 2009!
It is always a pleasure to have you visit my gallery, and please do come by again anytime.
Wishing you well,
Greetings to you, my LLS!
The weekend is almost upon us, and I'm so very happy. =)
How are you this evening? I hope all is well.
Thank you for visiting this sweet little corner shot. I'm delighted that you enjoyed it and appreciated it's back country charm.
I can't think of anything that would delight me more, than if you announced that you were coming to Georgia for a visit! Let me know when you're making plans, and we'll get ready for you!
Truly, you would love it here, and just think of how much fun the road trip would be! Wooo Hooo!
Gas prices are really down right now..... do keep that in mind. ;)
Thanks again for stopping by, and for your kind words.
It's always such a joy to see you.
Happy weekend to you, my dear friend.
I'm almost scarred to see what you've done now. Dear gosh.
Cautiously, I'm on my way over.
Mary Alice, I wish that you are happy, merry Christmas, and happy new year 2009!!! Your friend from Madrid, Luis Duro.
Greetings, and Happy Monday to you, Luis!
How wonderful to hear from you, and I'm sorry about the delay in responding to you.
I have been out of town, but I am back now.
My Christmas and New Years were both absolutely wonderful. I could not ask for anything better. Family, Friends, Worship, food and fun. It was all so joyous. I'm certain that Christmas is my very favorite time of year.
How was your Christmas and New Year's eve? I hope all was good for you as well, and that you got to spend some time with your family and friends.
Thank you so much for checking in on me. It is always a pleasure to hear from you.
Take care and I'll talk to you again very soon.
Best wishes for a wonderful week ahead!
Your friend from Georgia,
Very interesting. How old is the building?
You know, I really don't know how old this little place is. I'm sure it's from way, way before my time, but I'm not really certain of a real figure.
I'm so happy that you enjoyed it though, and thank you for your interest and visit.
I hope this evening finds you well.
Best regards from the USA,
This is a fabulous shot Mary Alice: great focus and sharpness, it has the look of HDR around the wagon and porch. Isn't is good that these old buildings are still around :~) Beautiful...
Una gran fotografia, felicidades y un feliz año nuevo, saludos.
Hello again, Sean!
Wow! You flatter me! I'm thrilled that you think this one almost has an HDRish feel to it. Fantastic!
I would love to take some HDR shots, but I just don't feel up to the challenge yet. I haven't had the time to fully understand the concept yet, or even try it out. One day I will, and you'll have to come and give me some pointers.
Until that day, I will just be pleased when you throw compliments like this my way. =)
Thank you so much, and I'm really glad that you enjoyed the place.
Indeed, I am SO glad that some places like this remain. They are getting far and few between, but sometime I still round a corner and luck up on one! Joy! Joy!
Thanks again for your nice visit.
Hi Mary, noticed your last comment and had to say that there's nothing to it! And Sean would be a great teacher, he has some of my favorite HDR's. Places like this and some of your other old buildings would look great! I just added a few new HDR's I did of an old house and I think that it looks great for that. Now I'm looking forward to seeing some from you!
Your encouraging words are most appreciated, but it's probably going to be a while before I branch out and actually try any HDR shots of my own.
Maybe one day, but seriously, don't go holding your breath or anything, okay? =)
Yes, Sean has some of the grandest shots on Panoramio in my opinion!
He is such a talented photographer of which I have the upmost respect.
Thanks again for your encouragement, and I'll be certain to let you know if I ever do accomplish the challenge of HDR.
