i am constantly amazed how one photo out of a pano does not have the impact but this does as its all the colour on the water. well done.

Lovely stuff. Visited the Penrith RSL with my brother in law who often performed there so know and love the area. The colours remind me of 15963031 , a half world away.

Russ Thanks for the comments there is nothing like a good sunset/sunrise and even though this is taken only 3kms from where I live you would be suprised how many times I have been down there and there not much of a sunset at all. BTW the Penrith RSL is the home of my local camera club

Cheers Chris

I understand the dilemma when posting two shots of the same place almost at the same time but with these two how can you decide? No, put them both here and let us bathe in their separate splendours. Cheers. Herb

Herb you are right I debated about putting up both panos and even this individual image but i could not decide which I liked the most so I posted all of them. Best wishes for the new year Chris

Hi Chris I browsing through your gallery again and my eye caught this stunning photo, I understand your using a 10stop ND filter which I must say has worked a treat. I love the reflection it's a very exotic effect.

Warm Wishes, Karen.

Karen thanks for looking and commenting. I like trying my hand at something a bit different and work towards making the image in camera with as little photoshop work as possible. Chris

Beautiful shot Chris. I was thinking of getting nd filters, I thought 6 and 4 maybe and gang them for ten?

Chris Low on April 7, 2009

SomeGuyinmassset The nd filters are sure a lot of fun can turn what would be a pretty ordinary day/weather into something useful. I see you reside on Vancouver Island I was over there salmon fishing from out of a foresty camp called Poets Nook back in the 80's Chris

Hey Chris thanks. I live on the Queen Charlotte Islands now but lived on V.I. for many years, I know of Poet's Nook. Guy.
