Diwan-i-Khas (Hall of Private Audience): Famous for its central pillar(in this picture) with thirty-six voluted brackets supporting a circular platform for emperor Akbar. It is here that Akbar had representatives of different religions discuss their faiths.

It is a red sand stone building smaller than the Diwan-i-Am. Here envoys and other honored guests are granted a personal audience with the ruler
