Wicked cool! How the heck did you do that?

Marbiz on November 21, 2008

Interesting geometric shot K and lovely colours. You have a good eye for capturing interesting views. Are the panes of glass coloured as they are?

Cal Kimola Brown on November 21, 2008

Love it, love it, love it - very artistic Kamaly

Great shot. Newspaper as a backdrop? Lots of room for metaphor. Almost got the crossword done (upper right).

D.R.Lamont on November 21, 2008

Very cool! love all the reflections and color I will add this to my faves!

Ha-Ha, Nawitka - I'm going to mystify you with that one, and make you rack your brain, LOL Bet you'd never be able to guess! :D Though of course I couldn't resist uploading the shot that explains it for very long. And Thanks marbiz, Cal, Don, Guy, steve, and dianne !

All the different layers and angles of the reflections make for pretty some intriguing shots - very much like a fun-house hall of mirrors. And Guy, I'm not sure exactly what the newspapers are a metaphor for - I never even went inside the building to read about the installation. Still have a couple of other views of it I want to try, so there'll be a few more visits, for sure.

Very intriguing shot in the middle of a very noce gallery.

The play with the colours as well as the reflections give a very nice and original sensation.

Well done

Thanks very much, Lina08 and Jean-Philippe !

The credit really goes to Ugo Rondinone, the artist of this very unique art installation at Boston's Institute of Contemporary Art.

Very nice, you can always find something interesting. Just popped in to wish you Happy Thanksgiving and hope you have nice weather to take pics for us all. H

diannemcd on November 25, 2008

I too would like to wish you happy Thanksgiving, do you get a holiday from work??

kamalyn on November 27, 2008

Thanks, Helen and Dianne ! A nice day off from work for most, and the Friday after Thanksgiving is sort of an unofficial holiday as well - ends up being the major Christmas shopping day for many.

And can you believe it - this shot got 'Selected for Google Earth!

Did BnP invite you for the lovely turkey spam?

My "Beware of Snakes" pic was selected for GE. Must be in the interests of community safety!!!

Don't forget to spend, spend, spend tomorrow to help boost that economy!!! H

kamalyn on November 27, 2008

LOL, Helen, she did, but she then proceeded to eat the whole thing herself! She is brave posting that self-portrait, though I imagine she looks just like many have been assuming. (It would be pretty funny to see how she'd look in some of these mirrors - parts of her would just disappear!) They must be getting a bit easier on the 'accepted for GE thing', though your sign does have some background in it. I had a pretty good sign accepted, too.
