Well, you've certainly topped me for dreadfulness. Things are a bit slippery here, but we've got good ballast in the car: boxes of ceramic tiles for bathroom floor and walls. Small bathroom, and the wall will be tiled only halfway up, but still that's a lot of weight.
We ran into a deer a year ago last June. Noon, bright sunshine, open fields, no woodland nearby. What a strange time and place to try to cross a four or six land divided highway! At least there were no antlers. $3000 damage to the aging car, but it's nice to know it was considered worth fixing.
