Unfortunately I was at work on Saturday, but I could see the waves as I drove the bus down to Whitley. I managed to get out on Sunday, but there was nothing as dramatic as this. Nicely timed capture, Stephen.

Thank you Skida, They were fairly spectacular even in that strong breeze. I'am sorry I've put so many on but couldn't leave some of them out. Have you checked out the one with the DFDS Ferry very close to the piers- one of my favourites. I wouldn't like to have been a passenger on it.

I think it would have been an "interesting" crossing on the ferry, maybe too interesting for a poor sailor like me. Where you using two different cameras?

I've a Canon S2 and a JVC Everio Video Camera that takes 5 meg photos in wide screen format which I quite like but does take a bit of time to focus. The S2 is being passed on to the misses soon and I've a Canon SX1 IS on order due any day that has a 20x Optical zoom and can take 4 frames/sec, not to be opened till Santa comes though.
