Incidently: My good lady recognises you from your photo. Did you by any chance go to the "New Delaval School"? And do you know or remember any of the Herrons from Newsham?

Sadly I went to the gramma, but (still) am a Newsham lad and went to infants and juniors there. I remember a few of the Herrons, saw Jamsy a few weeks ago, are we talking about the same family?

That's a huge fleet Keith ;>)

This is what remains at Whitby, former fishing port, with the exception of a handful of under 10 metre potters and three part time trawlers..The cod and haddock are all but decimated.Lobsters will follow any time soon..It's the fishermens' idea of conservation
